Transfer Week

Cant believe that it's almost transfers!!! I have been in the Bronx for 6 weeks now and on a mission for 2 months!!! That is flippin insane!!! It has been a very hard 6 weeks but I managed to survive it. There is so much I want to tell you guys. Miracles There have been so many miracles this past week. Me and my companion have been able to keep up the good work and achieve our goal that we have made throughout the week. This Sunday we brought 9/8 of our recent converts to church, and 4 of our friends that are progressing. 2 of these friends are preparing for baptisms this week and next week. Richard is an old guy and has had a lot of trials in his life but, it has been an amazing experience to help him become closer to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. He is preparing to get baptized this Sunday, we just gotta keep hyping him up and calling him because he forgets what day it is and when to leave lol. Marlene is the 2nd one who is preparing for her baptism for the 26th of Januar...

Hello everybody, This week has been a pretty good week, had a baptism on January 5th. His name was Wendell he was super excited, he talks a lot though LOL. We had to do it three times cuz the first two he did it fully submerge underwater, but the third time was completely perfect and he came out really happy and with the big smile on his face. But I had amazing friends and a companion at the MTC who was the greatest. But coming on the mission field it wasn't like that. The sister missionaries are super sweet but the  elders  have been not as supportive as...

Super excited for him!!!! Anyways lets get into it. It was hard to be away from family but I had some things that helped me out. I was able to talk to the mission president, cause every transfer we have an interview with him at least once. Which helped me and made me realize that they want me here. And I was also able to talk to another missionary, just us, and man I didn't know we had a lot in common. We both struggle with anxiety and he helped me alot to be able to focus on why IM HERE, and what my goal is as a missionary. He's a very nice and genuine guy. And man did he help me. Christmas day: We went over to the senior si...
